So I noticed it has been more than 6 months since I wrote a journal. You all deserve a new one.
Have had an eventful few months, good, bad, and ugly alike, but all up I am in a much better place now. I guess the turbulence started when Nichola and I broke up, although we have barely spoken since, I believe we can continue to exist in the same space-time without incident. I have since moved on and am now living with my current girlfriend in Kogarah (in Sydney's south). Kat moved up from Tasmania to go to University of Sydney, but until then got a fulltime job, so I get to play the role of the uni-slacker, but at least it means she comes home to done dishes and folded washing!
Anyway more about the move- we were extremely lucky to grab this place, was asking around in a real estate office we very nearly past when the property manager mentioned it. He took us to see it and we applied, so he took it off the market straight away- we got the first place we applied for- rental crisis my ass! And only paying a fraction per week more than I was in uni subsidised accommodation! 2 minutes to station/shops, 10 minutes to beach, very safe and friendly area, HUGE apartment with MASSIVE balcony... love it! Unfortunately it does mean I don't have internet until probably the new year, as I am off to Tassie for 3 weeks over xmas
Glad to be moving out of Uni Housing too... was really started to dry up. I got a job with the housing service as a residential networker which practically halved my rent, but the Monday mornings were a killer! 8am meetings! Also started hating the area after someone scaled the balconies one night, broke into my apartment, and stole my laptop and backpack. Had the right to be royally pissed, but was about to get a new one anyway and sell that. Still, was out $500, but I'm over it. My new one is a beast.
Ummm I think that is it- oh yeah exams are over thank god... I think I did okay, and didn't stress at all which was something different. Ready to start 2008 now please!
Anyway my stomach is going on strike so it is lunchtime. Adios amigos!

And, you're in Sydney, awesome! Same here!
Well, I just felt like searching for someone who actually plays the same guitar as me, and I actually found someone.

As I was sitting in my chair, I knew the bottom wasn't there. No legs or back, but I just sat. Ignoring little things like that.
it was once said that a black man would become President when pigs fly. 100 days into Obama's presidency: swine flu.
